AI Workshop for Teachers in Chicago
Digital Alchemy runs hands-on AI workshops for teachers in Chicago and the west suburbs, in person at your school or online. Teachers leave with classroom-ready activities and clear rules for student AI use, not a slide deck to figure out alone. Sessions are led by Desmond Baker Jr, a Google Gemini Certified Educator based in Maywood.
Taught by Desi Baker (Desmond Baker Jr), a Google Gemini Certified Educator who has taught AI through the Chicago Housing Authority and spoken at AI Tinkerers.

How many teachers can attend?
Full-staff sessions are built for groups of about 20 to 40 educators. Larger staffs can split into two sessions on the same day. Ask on the planning call.
Do teachers need experience with AI?
No. Sessions start from zero and move at staff pace. Teachers who already use AI get the advanced practice track during activity time.
Will this match our district AI policy?
Yes. We plan around your policy and approved tools. If your school has no policy yet, the full-day format includes drafting classroom-level rules together.
Can we book for an institute day?
Yes, institute days are the most common booking. Dates go first come, so book the planning call early in the semester.
